Morning warm-up on Podlasie

It was a very cold morning. I arrived on location quite early—too early for photography, as it was still too dark. In any case, I lay down and simply observed. 

As the light slowly began to appear and the bison started to move, I could barely operate my camera due to my frozen hands. I had to take frequent breaks just to warm them up, managing to take only a few photographs in between. 

After this trip, a pair of warmer gloves moved quite high up on my never-ending list of things to buy.
