Adorned with darkness

It was one of those rather unexpected encounters.

Once I had managed to find a good position, I was able to quietly observe and photograph two moose as they wandered around and rested in the field. I spent some time with them, simply observing their behavior.

When it was almost completely dark, two more moose joined them, including this magnificent bull with an impressive set of antlers. I managed to capture this photograph during the last moments of the rapidly fading light.
